Where does FindFreight.biz stand for?

We go by (have) three main criteria: Registration, sending and receiving RFQ’s: Request Freight Quotation are FREE OF CHARGE. All participants are checked by us at some stage. In case of non-payment a participant may be excluded from the service. We are a B2B platform. Shipper's are not allowed to post an RFQ (ask for transport prices).

What is a client?

A client is any business ordering goods (on pallets) transported from A to B (both national or international). The client gives the transport order according to the RFQ; Request Freight Quotation and pays the shipper`s bill.

What is a shipper?

A shipper carries out the transport physically or instructs others to handle the transport. In effect the shipper is the company which get paid for getting goods from A to B (both national or international) according to the specifications in the RFQ; Request Freight Quotation.

When does the client gives the order?

As soon as the client has selected the shipper of his choice he then sends the shipper a transport order. At that time the client commits himself to have the shipper of his choice carry out the transport as being described in the RFQ.

When does the shipper have a deal?

As soon as the client sends the shipper a transport order.

Which are the cost involved for joining and using FindFreight.biz?

Registration, sending and receipt of RFQ`s (Request Freight Quotations) are FREE of CHARGE. Clients are allowed to submit a max. of 3 RFQ`s. Sending an transport order will allow another 3 RFQ`s to be send. If a shipper gets a transport order from a client he or she pays € 15,- excl. VAT to FindFreight.biz.

Can a client submit an RFQ for a non-pallet?

No, FindFreight.biz is only for pallet (road) transport.

Why do I need to register?

We want to minimize the chance that the service is misused.

How come the invoice amount (by the shipper) isn`t the same (higher) as the amount specified on the transport order?

At times goods are packed so that they go over the edge of the pallet. In that case the necessary loading space doesn`t match up with the space indicated on the RFQ which increases the freight cost. Also as a maximum a shipper may take about 900kg per pallet. If the actual weight is higher the shipper might bill this as s surcharge. It`s therefore important for the client to fill in the RFQ the best he can.
